If anything, having Emma was most helpful to my husband as she helped prepare him to know what to expect during labor, it provided him with queing in on what he could help with/comfort techniques he could provide, and he had someone supporting him and checking in on his well being as well throughout the delivery. Emma came in the car with us on the way to the hospital and on the way home which was incredibly helpful. When we arrived home from the hospital she helped clean our house, change our sheets and just overall make sure we were settled prior to leaving. Emma was also very knowledgeable in other details such as registering our baby's birth, applying for E.I, etc. All the logistical information that can be very confusing to navigate on our own! I will be recommending Emma to others!

I had my baby via c-section after a 29 hour labor and induction with my breech baby, I never could’ve gotten through it without Emma’s help. The many times I felt like I couldn’t handle anymore she was by my side telling me how great I was doing and how capable I was of doing this. She was an excellent advocate for me when it came to the staff at the hospital and gave me a voice when I had little energy to use my own. I may not have gotten the birth I wanted/planned but thanks to her I have so much peace moving into postpartum and wouldn’t have done a single thing differently.

Emma supported us through my pregnancy and labour as first time parents! My partner doesn’t do well in medical settings and I was feeling like I could use the extra support. After this experience, I can firmly say that I will have a doula for every birth.
Emma was very kind and informative. Although we weren’t able to meet face to face (just virtually) before my labour (my son was a few weeks early!), Emma was a great support during active labor and I felt 1000% comfortable having her there. She checked in with me pain wise, and offered great advice and guidance in the moment. Emma continues to be supportive now as my son is almost 3 months old and I know that if I have any questions or need any support she is just a text away! Thank you Emma for all that you do!
